Description
PRB FONDISOL F is specifically designed as both a high performance thin base coat render and for bonding and levelling insulation panels (EPS, Mineral/Stone Wool and Wood Fibre) for EWI systems on low- and high-rise buildings both as a retrofit application onto existing sound render, brickwork etc or for new build substrates e.g. concrete blockwork, render boards etc.
Subject to a suitable substrate, EPS insulation panels can be adhesively only fixed with the PRB FONDISOL F.
When adhering Mineral Wool / Stone Wool or Wood Fibre insulation panels, supplementary mechanical fixings are also required to secure the insulation to the substrate.
When bonding EPS, Mineral/Stone Wool and Wood Fibre insulation panels to old substrates e.g. render, paint etc use the PRB FONDISOL F as an adhesive combined with mechanical fixings.
Once dry the PRB FONDISOL F can then receive a range of thin coat top coat finishes PRB RÉVOMUR M, PRB CRÉPISIX M, PRB CRÉPOXANE or a mineral thin coat finish PRB CRÉPIXATE M or a thick mineral through colour render PRB THERMOLOOK.
When used as a base coat or for render board joints, PRB FONDISOL F must be reinforced with the PRB AVN MESH.
