K Rend HP12 is a high-polymer base coat designed to provide improved adhesion and water resistance on difficult substrates. Suitable for hand or spray application, this K Rend base coat creates a reliable background for compatible K Rend finishes. Scrim cloth may be required in certain applications to reinforce the system.
K Rend HP12 Base Coat Coverage
K Rend HP12 coverage depends on application thickness and the condition of the substrate. Based on a 25kg bag, approximate coverage is:
– 5mm thickness: 8.5kg per m² — approximately 2.9m² per bag
– 10mm thickness: 17kg per m² — approximately 1.5m² per bag
Allow for surface irregularities, application losses and wastage when calculating the quantity required for a project.
